If you are feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, anger, or depression and are looking for insight, support, and tools. I am here to help. I work with children, adolescents, and adults who are navigating life’s challenges and seeking meaningful change. I create a warm, collaborative environment where you can feel safe to be yourself and uncover what’s getting in the way of the life you want to live. Whether you are facing a transition or feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, we’ll work together to build a happier, healthier you.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and am a play therapist in training. I also have training and experience using EMDR and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you throughout the therapeutic process. You don’t have to face your challenges alone. Life can feel overwhelming, and when anxiety, stress, anger, or depression take hold, it’s easy to feel stuck or isolated. As your therapist, I offer a safe, judgement-free environment where you can be heard, understood, and supported.

Do you feel anxious, unmotivated, stuck, or like you’re struggling just to feel okay? Trauma and disempowering experiences can cause us to lose touch with who we really are—and who we might have become if it had always felt safe to be ourselves.
My philosophy is that you do not need to be “fixed.” I help clients uncover and reconnect with who they are beneath layers of trauma, expectations, and negative programming.
I am a Provisional Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Transpersonal, Mindfulness-Based Therapy. I work with adults, teens, and LGBTQ+ individuals, integrating Eastern and Western approaches while attending to the whole person—body, mind, and spirit.
A central focus of my practice is Brainspotting, a powerful brain-body therapy that can reach trauma held in deeper, survival-oriented areas of the brain that are not easily accessed through language. This can help explain why people sometimes spend years talking about painful experiences, understand them intellectually, and yet still feel stuck. Brainspotting allows us to work directly with these deeper areas so unresolved trauma can be processed and released—without requiring you to talk through or even describe everything that happened. I have seen Brainspotting create profound shifts for clients who had struggled to find resolution through traditional talk therapy. I offer an accepting, compassionate, judgment-free space where we can work together toward healing, reconnection, balance, and a renewed passion for life.

I believe a child’s behavior often tells us what they don’t yet have the words to say. When a child is struggling with big emotions, anxiety, behaviors, or changes in their world, I want to slow down and understand what might be happening underneath. I bring a calm, patient presence to therapy and give children the time and space they need to feel comfortable, build trust, and express themselves in their own way.
I earned my Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University and my Bachelor of Social Work from Walden University. My passion has always been working with children and families, and I’ve continued to build on my education through training in Experiential Play Therapy and Jungian Sandplay therapy. These approaches have shaped the way I understand children and the way I show up with them in therapy.
Children don’t always communicate best by sitting down and talking, so therapy with me often looks a little different. We might use expressive arts, imaginative play, Sandplay, movement, creativity, or conversation, depending on what feels most natural for the child. Play gives children a way to express things that can be difficult to put into words and work through experiences in a way that makes sense to them.
While we’re creating, playing, or working in the sand, I’m paying attention to the stories and themes that naturally come up. I’m looking at how a child experiences their world, relationships, emotions, and challenges. I use those moments to help them understand what they’re feeling, work through difficult experiences, and build new ways of coping and connecting.
There’s no pressure for a child to come in and immediately talk about what’s wrong. Building trust takes time, and I believe the relationship we build is an important part of the work we do together. Some children are ready to talk, while others need to play, create, move, laugh, or simply get comfortable first. I meet them where they are and allow that relationship to develop at their pace.
I work with children experiencing trauma, anxiety, big emotions, behavioral concerns, impulsivity, difficulty with emotional regulation, family changes, school challenges, and life transitions. My goal isn’t simply to change a behavior. I want to understand what the behavior may be communicating and help children develop healthier ways to cope, communicate what they need, and connect with the people around them.
I also really value working alongside parents, caregivers, and teachers. The people who know a child best can give me such an important window into their world, and I believe we do our best work together. I want parents to understand what I’m seeing in therapy, feel included in their child’s progress, and have practical ways to support them at home. When it’s helpful, I also love connecting with teachers so we can better understand what a child may need at school too.
At the heart of my work, I want children to feel like they can be exactly who they are when they come into my space. My hope is to be a calm, steady person in their corner while also helping parents feel supported and understood along the way. Therapy is a relationship, and I feel incredibly grateful to be trusted with a small part of a child and family’s story.
